Related to land rear of Broad Street House, Broad Street, Lyminge

Pentland Homes are intending to submit a detailed planning application to Folkestone & Hythe District Council to develop the land to the rear of Broad Street House, to provide 47 dwellings (including 10 affordable homes). The proposals also include the provision of car parking spaces for the adjacent Doctor’s Surgery, a new footpath and 2 self-build dwellings which have been previously approved.

A public consultation event is being held on Tuesday 7th February 2023, at Etchinghill Golf Club, Canterbury Road, Etchinghill, CT18 8FA from 16:30 – 18:00 to discuss the proposed development and provide you with an opportunity to give your feedback to the project team.

We offer our deepest condolences to the Royal family and wish to reassure them that we will remember them in our thoughts and prayers.

On the day of her funeral: You are invited on Monday 19th September at 10am to St Mary & St Ethelburga Parish Church, Lyminge. Please join Rev Deb to watch Her Majesty’s funeral live on a large screen. Everyone is welcome.

The garage and table sale will be on Sunday, September 25th.

The Garage Sale maps will be available free of charge from Lyminge Village Hall as well as Lyminge Food & Wine, AgeUK and The Coffee Cabin. They will also available on the our website (www.lyminge.org.uk) from Friday evening.

Refreshments will be available from Age UK, The Coffee Cabin and Lyminge Village Hall.

We’ll create an interactive Google Map of the event to help you navigate all the sales using your phone.

Advance Warning of Road Closure at Broad Street, Lyminge for 42 days.

Broad Street, Lyminge will be closed for its entire length from 25th July 2022 for 42 days with estimated completion by 4th September 2022.
