We have now started receiving deliveries again from one wholesaler. This means we can order the majority of goods, with a few notable exceptions including most insulins, dressings and appliances.
Currently we are able to fulfil around 90% of scripts.
Another wholesaler account is in the process of being opened by the Administrators to allow us to order the full range of items needed. We will ensure the surgeries are kept up to date and patients will be contacted if we are unable to fulfil their scripts.
We are, by no means, back to business-as-usual but are able to offer a close to normal service for most patients. Please expect some delays and disruption.
The Administrators, FRP, have 8 weeks to formulate a plan for the business going forwards. We have been assured that the pharmacy will not close. There is a distinct possibility that we will be sold to either of the previous directors or a third party.
